It's also going to be difficult to find homeless NPC vamps such as Bridgeport starts out with if they are hibernating off the map at the time the player attempts this.
Hey Sunshine Alarm clocks are back in The Sims 4 and you can now wake up on your own. I'm not as sure about vamps, but some of the occult states cannot be safely removed this way without breaking the target sims. This mod is Base Game Compatible and enhanced by High School Years. In your experience, is CAS editiing out vamps like that really safe to do? CAS is concerned with sims' appearances, an occult state runs deeper than that hence the testingcheats mailbox and MasterController solutions. With vampires turned off on the demographics tab they should not be trying to turn any of the other town residents, so are pretty much harmless and can be seen as being more eccentric than a threat. The non-mod solution is going to be to identify the couple or three vampires that are present in the town (pale skin, glowing eyes, and burning in sunlight are good clues), open the console (ctrl+shift+c), type 'testingcheatsenabled true' (no quotes), shift-click them (or maybe ctrl-click - I forget), edit them in Create-a-Sim to remove the vampire state (make them human), accept the change, and keep an eye out for any others that you might have missed. It doesn't do anything about ones that are present when you start a new game. Originally posted by marstinson:Turning off vampires only keeps new ones from spawning/turning.
